The School of Art + Art History (SA+AH) has released a catalog highlighting its programs and the creative and scholarly research by the school’s faculty. The catalog was released in conjunction with Solo/Together: 50th Annual UF Art Faculty Exhibition on view at the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art through Jan. 14, 2015.
“Over the exhibition’s 50-year history, our programs have grown and evolved to encompass a wide variety of scholarly, conceptual and creative approaches to art research and practice,” says Richard Heipp, SA+AH director and one of the artists whose work is in the exhibition. “The publication, designed by SA+AH alumni, Morgan and David Claytor of Hatchet Design in Orlando, Florida. The catalog celebrates the innovations and accomplishments of this dedicated group of UF faculty members.”
This beautiful new catalog opens up to a center folder containing a stack of 6 x 9 postcards featuring photographs and details of the work of each faculty member, along with information about the college, its resources, facilities and area museums. This full-color spread is also available to view online here.
Alone in the studio or together on campus, the current University of Florida art faculty are joined by a passion for making art and engaging in art scholarship that deepens our collective human experience. The catalog allows readers to meet the faculty, view their work, gain insights into their research and learn more about their practice and inspirations.
