Dr. Marshall Haning, assistant professor of music at UF, traveled to Sydney, Australia, to conduct a series of choral clinics, faculty workshops and conference presentations over the summer. He was hosted by St. Andrews Cathedral School, where he worked with a variety of choral ensembles and provided a professional development workshop for St. Andrews' music teachers. In addition, he conducted a day-long invitational honor choir workshop for students across the Harbourside Independent School Network. Finally, Dr. Haning presented an independent session and participated in a collaborative symposium session at the Biennial World Council for Gifted and Talented Children World Conference. His independent session was entitled “Talented and Gifted: Music Education for Exceptional Students.”
