About the Program

The Sacred Music program is designed for students who wish to pursue a career of leadership in church music. This degree is designed to equip the church musician with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan music for worship, to train and conduct service musicians in presentations of worship music that are both intellectually informed and artistically satisfying, and to lead development of congregational song at the highest level of understanding.
