Bruna Lab

In Fall 2017, Mint students Janeza Dino and Ruben Barcenas were chosen by Emilio Bruna, UF Professor of Tropical Ecology and Latin American Studies, to collaborate in the development of a new brand for his science laboratory, Bruna Lab.
The students developed a fresh and innovative brand, representing the manner in which Bruna Lab activates the use of data, creating a visualization of interchanging ideas and information. It took into consideration the following attributes:

Interaction: Between Plants, Animals, & Humans
Collaboration: with a Global Network of Scientists
Passion: to Excel and to Discover

The Bruna Lab logomark is composed of the name and the hummingbird. The hummingbird is a standalone mark that can represent Bruna Lab with its motion for research and collaboration.
